STAY HOME Edition: 70 Short French-Language Films Available for Free
In the current context of the health crisis, with quarantines in place in many countries, UniFrance, in partnership with the Institut Français, is offering a special edition of the MyFrenchFilmFestival: the STAY HOME Edition. Until April 27, 70 short films, subtitled in multiple languages, will be available for free all over the world.
The Institut Français promotes French culture, and communication between all cultures, throughout the world. It has partnered with UniFrance, the organization in charge of promoting French cinema worldwide, to offer international audiences a special edition of its Francophone short film festival: the STAY HOME Edition.
A CATALOG OF 70 SHORT FILMS
The STAY HOME Edition is presented as a special edition of the festival, designed for staying put at home, launched by the MyFrenchFilmFestival teams.
Drawn from a rich collection of short films gathered over the past 10 years, the STAY HOME Edition offers audiences everywhere an opportunity to discover or rediscover the best short films from the most recent MyFrenchFilmFestivals, as well as a selection of animated films for young viewers.
According to UniFrance, it includes a total of over 70 films, all Francophone, all subtitled in over 10 languages, available for free worldwide until April 27, 2020.
SIX MAIN CATEGORIES AND THREE METHODS OF ACCESS
To help movie-lovers choose, the films have been organized into six main categories with something for everyone: Family Affair, Love and Feelings, Portraits of Women, Teen Spirit, What’s Going On, and a final category, Kids Corner, featuring a selection of films without dialogue for young audiences.
There are three ways to watch these short films:
