"Student diplomacy, an important aspect of attractiveness in France"

During the Ambassadors' Week, French president Emmanuel Macron pinpointed the importance of "student diplomacy", a critical aspect of the attractiveness of France.

The French president lamented the insufficient number of foreign students welcomed in France. To him, implementing a more resolute strategy is essential to create major universities in France that are visible internationally.

The welcome strategy must be more offensive and integrated. The welcome process starts in Campus France Offices and continues with visa applications and when arriving in universities.

For the French president, the simplified process must also support new agreements of higher education cooperation. All efforts must go in the same direction.
