About this job:
The department "Building, Energy & Environment - econet china" supports German enterprises in China's green markets and promotes their know-how for sustainability. With focus on topics such as green building, energy efficiency, renewable energies, electric mobility, mineral resources, as well as environmental and climate protection, the department provides German enterprises with information, customized services, and also involves them in projects supported by German ministries.
To enhance our activities, starting from January 2021, we are looking for a talented Project Manager for Mining and Mineral Resources.


Job description

Job Summary:
Responsible for promoting Sino-German cooperation in the mining and mineral resources sector through gathering market information, organizing events, providing customized services and facilitating market entry and expansion of German companies.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Supporting the establishment of a database with market information for mining and mineral resources in China
Communicating effectively with German and Chinese companies and associations
Managing relations to Chinese government authorities and representatives
Organizing and implementing activities such as conferences, information events and business delegation trips
Providing services such as market research / studies and business partner search
Project budgeting, planning and reporting


Desired profile

Requirement:

Statement of Qualifications:
A university degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Natural Sciences
At least 2 years working experience
Project Management experience, preferably managing government-funded projects
Good organizational and communication skills
Interest in the mining and mineral resources sector
Ability to build, maintain and extend industry-specific networks
Good analytical and conceptual thinking
Cross-cultural competence

Languages:
Chinese: Mother tongue
German or English: Proficiency - oral, reading and writing required
