ABG is a non-profit organization created in 1980 and supported by the French Ministry for Higher Education and Research to support the career development of PhDs. To this end, it provides academic and industrial employers with a platform for the advertisement of job vacancies. It also provides various training courses to prepare doctorate holders for their career development. In the past few years, it has been very active at European level and contributes in particular to the Euraxess network, an initiative from the European Commission.

In order to help PhDs make the most of their research experience and skills, it has developed with academic and industrial partners, the French Conference of University Presidents and the French Association of employers MEDEF, the online skills portfolio DocPro, freely accessible: www.mydocpro.org.
