One thousand and one stories... This year's theme for the 14th European Researchers' Night will be displayed in twelve cities in France (and 200 all over Europe) on Friday, September 28.

Launched by the European Commission and supported by the ministries in charge of higher education and culture, the European Researchers' Night mirrors the European Year of Cultural Heritage. This is why this awesome night of meetings and sharing between researchers and the general public directs the spotlights on storytelling by presenting research through stories.

Sharing knowledge is much like telling a story. Telling science and research, telling stories about science, unveiling stories of researchers are all ways to touch the general public.

Through short stories, tales and entertainment (games, staging, scenarios, riddles), researchers will try to involve their audience, spark their curiosity and maybe involve them in their work!

The European Researchers' Night will be present in many different shapes in about twelve cities (Albi, Angers, Besançon, Bordeaux, Brest, Dijon, Le Mans, Limoges, Marseille, Paris, Saint-Denis de la Réunion, Toulouse).  Depending on the choice of the holder, the event will be held in various premises: universities, laboratories, museums, public places and more.

Note that this year's theme specifically targets researchers in humanities (languages and literature, History, arts and archaeology, heritage) to participate in the event.
