French PM launches national strategy to draw international students

French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe presented the main actions of his national strategy to draw international students during the inauguration of the Campus France Meeting 2018 dedicated to the Francophonie.

To open the Rencontres Universitaires de la Francophonie (University Meetings for the French-speaking World), French PM Edouard Philippe chose to announce the launch of the national strategy designed to improve the drawing power for international students. He spoke before more than 400 representatives of higher education institutions and research entities gathered at the Cent-Quatre by Campus France. Frédérique Vidal, minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, and Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, secretary of State to the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs were also present to detail the main measures.
