ENSAI: Modeling data, creating knowledge

The National School for Statistics and Data Analysis in France (ENSAI) has been located on the Ker Lann campus on the outskirts of Rennes since 1996. As experts in analyzing and treating data, ENSAI graduates benefit from a solid theoretical and applied scientific education that meets the needs of today's businesses.

The school graduates 90 engineer statisticians annually with the know-how to treat, exploit, and model data  to facilitate decision making within businesses.  The first two years of the three-year program are dedicated to providing students with a solid, tri-partite foundation in Statistics, Computer Science, and Econometrics.  Students choose from 6 specializations for their final year: Risk Management, Quantitative Marketing, Advanced Statistical Engineering, Biostatistics, Data Modeling for Spatial Analysis, Data Modeling for Health Economics, and Data Science. Since 2015, ENSAI has offered a Master of Science in Big Data: an innovative degree combining Statistics and Computer Science with courses given entirely in English. Additionally, ENSAI offers a Master's degree in Public Statistics in partnership with the University of Rennes 1. This program was recently honored by Eurostat as one of only 12 EMOS degrees in the EU.

ENSAI graduates work in various fields including: consulting firms, banks, insurance companies, public health organizations, pharmaceutical laboratories, retail management, the media, IT companies, heavy industry, the transportation industry, and the energy industry. Nearly 100% of ENSAI students find good-paying, high-level jobs very quickly after graduating (at a higher rate than most engineering schools) thanks to the school's corporate partnerships (internships, recruitment fairs, conferences, professional seminars, consulting, applied research projects, etc.)
