US Sciences Po Foundation

The US Sciences Po Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt organization, was founded in December 2009, with the aim of pursuing non-profit and educational objectives, including enhancing the reputation of Sciences Po in the United States by raising interest and spreading awareness. Its goal is to assist Sciences Po in implementing strategies designed to encourage talented students to pursue their studies at Sciences Po and to recruit and support world-class professors at Sciences Po’s campuses.

The foundation aims at gathering individual donors, as well as private corporations and foundations, to find the resources needed to achieve Sciences Po’s ambitions and disseminate its educational values in the United States.

A Mission Critical Agenda

While great progress has been made, Sciences Po continues to introduce groundbreaking programs and partnerships that benefit students and faculty. Financing the school’s growth and development is a top priority. However, public funding and tuition are not enough. In order to finance its expansion and operations and consolidate its financial independence, Sciences Po has launched fundraising campaigns in Europe and the United States. The US Sciences Po Foundation was founded as part of this effort and serves as the center of these philanthropic and collaborative activities in the U.S.

Mission Statement

The mission of the US Sciences Po Foundation is to promote the values of Sciences Po: excellence in education and research, diversity, and equal access to higher education for students whose talent and promise exceed their financial resources.
The primary aims of the Foundation are to:

• Cultivate a strong base of philanthropic support in the United States.
• Continue to develop intellectual cooperation between the U.S. and Sciences Po.
• Enhance Sciences Po’s reputation as one the world’s top universities.
