Located in the very centre of Bordeaux in air-conditioned premises, the Alliance Française welcomes more than 1800 foreigners from 90 different countries each year. The Alliance Française Bordeaux Aquitaine is part of an international network with more than 900 establishments throughout 135 countries. Awarded the “Français Qualité Fle” badge with 3 stars, delivered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, of Higher Education and Culture, the Alliance Française Bordeaux Aquitaine provides intensive or extensive French courses, which conform to the European Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages (CEFRL) and are taught by qualified and experienced teachers. The adopted pedagogy is communicative and active with the use of interactive boards allowing quick and effective progress. The teaching method is ALTER EGO+. Assistance is provided in finding host families or hotel accommodations. Weekly cultural outings are organized. A “Learn French and Surf” program for young people is offered in Biarritz between June and August. Participants spend two weeks with full board accommodation a host family.
