The University of Picardie Jules Verne, with its 30,000 students and around 1,000 teaching and research staff, is a multidisciplinary university on a human scale. Founded in 1969, the UPJV is located on several campuses in six towns in the Hauts-de-France region.  The main campus is in Amiens.

As part of the construction of the European Higher Education Area, the UPJV joined the Bachelor/Master/Doctorate system in 2004. The European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) gives students more flexibility in their studies and facilitates their international mobility.

Our university is a committed and recognised player in teaching and research. It offers a wide range of courses in all disciplines and at all levels. These courses are grouped into 4 main fields and are delivered by 12 UFR (=Training and Research Units), 7 IUT (=University Institutes of Technology) and 1 Engineering School.
