Overview
Pavillon Bosio offers postsecondary degree programs in art. The uniqueness of the instruction provided in the first 3 years lies in its generalist approach, complemented by an exploration of the world of set design beginning in the first year. The goal of the next 2 years is to support advanced students as they acquire the skills and versatility required of creative set designers. Serving as the theoretical basis for the accomplishment of that mission are attention to modernity and to emerging trends in the fields of art, architecture, design, the performing arts, and contemporary culture. Instruction and research in the plastic arts occurs in the traditional workshop and studio settings long used in the teaching of the fundamental disciplines of art, but also through the use of new digital tools. The experimental and innovative instructional approach of the Pavillon Bosio are complemented by the dynamism, diversity, and professionalism of the school’s major partners.
