Bastille Day French Festival 2015

Groupe "Australia"

With a growing French community, the most liveable city in the world now has the opportunity to showcase its French influence and the presence of French people who contribute to making Melbourne the multicultural, food and entertainment hub it is today. French people are known for their passion and romanticism as well as their revolutionary spirit which shapes their identity and makes Bastille Day unique!
In the context of the historic cultural and economic ties between Australia and France and the common values shared by our two countries, the Bastille Day French Festival is the first of its kind in Melbourne to celebrate the French National Day. In partnership with French-Australian associations, the BDFF program will offer free, accessible and family oriented activities that will attract visitation to the city and allow the broader community to experience French language and culture.

Highlights include:
French food and wine
French market stalls
School participation
Kids' corner
Entertainment, music and performances
An official launch event with champagne and canapes
The chance to win a trip to France in the Grand Raffle!
