In conversation about the Black Diggers

 This year, Australia commemorated the 100th anniversary of Gallipoli's battle in Turkey on the 25th of April 1915. On this occasion, the Alliance  française in Sydney is hosting a talk by Dr Elizabeth Rechniewski about the Black Diggers.

 Dr Elizabeth Rechniewski is Senior Lecturer in the Department of French Studies at the University of Sydney. She has researched and  published widely on French intellectuals and engagement, including Suarès, Malraux, Sartre. She is also Chief Investigator on the Australian  Research Council (ARC).

 The talk will be delivered in French.
