In Noctambule, Camilla Tadich will present recent works created during her recent residency at the Centre Intermondes in La Rochelle as well as new works created in Australia.

"My works are mainly focused on the nocturnal landscapes; they show the interaction between the story and the atmosphere that creates light. This concept supports my research on the landscape and the ambiguity of our environment when darkness falls. Recently, I focused on Australian mountains in winter, more precisely on the snowfields, giving me evidence that snowy night landscapes reveal a sharpness and a strange silence.
It is only when night falls that we come to perceive the little lights that solar lighting hides during the day. Like an owl, these little lights waits for the darkness to land on the thin branches of a tree, on the cold body of an old truck or play with the moon to create beautiful reflections in the snow." About the artist

Camilla Tadich, born in 1982 in Melbourne, is represented by Dianne Tanzer & Projects Gallery (Melbourne) and Peter Walker Fine Art (Adelaide).
She graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts (Melbourne) in 2006.
Her first solo exhibition « Silent Space » was presented at the Alliance Française de Melbourne (2006).
Among her other exhibitions: « New paintings », Flinders Lane Gallery, Melbourne (2007),  « Slabalong », Sophie Gannon Gallery, Melbourne, « New Paintings », Peter Walker Fine Art, Walkerville, Adelaide and « In the Shadows », Dianne Tanzer & Projects Gallery (2012) along with numerous other collective exhibitions in Australia.
