On September 16 2015, for the very first time, the French-Australian Chamber of Commerce will hold a full-day National Business Forum dedicated to Smart Cities, to be concluded by the widely popular annual Business Awards Dinner.
The National Business Forum is a united initiative of Team France, led by the French-Australian Chamber of Commerce under the patronage of the Embassy of France to Australia and supported by Business France and the French Foreign Trade Advisor Group (CCEF).
This Forum aims to highlight the French-Australian relationship that drives Australia’s Smart Cities, through innovation, expertise and collaboration, bringing together a showcase of French-Australian profiles leading the major developments that drive Australia to its future. Bringing together officials from the Australian Federal and State Governments including the Hon. Warren Truss, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, the Hon. Andrew Constance MP NSW Minister for Transport and Infrastructure, as well as Business leaders, researchers and industry experts, the Forum will encourage diverse and high-level discourse on a broad spectrum of topics each relating to Smart Cities. Following on from the Forum, the Chamber will then celebrate the winners of the National Business Awards to recognise the most outstanding businesses contributing to Smart Cities in 2015.
