In addition to providing information about the French education system, language classes at the Alliance française, and tourism in France, the stall offered face-painting for children, the opportunity to practice one's French as well as to take part in quiz games and raffles. Visitors to the stall were also able to enjoy traditional French pastries and to bring home lots of 'goodies'.

Very popular amongst Australians, the National Multicultural Festival in Canberra attracted more than 250,000 visitors in 2014. This event offers the unique opportunity to meet an Australian public already seduced by France's culture and diversity. According to a study led by Atout France, France is Australians' 2nd most popular tourist destination in the world. In 2013, France welcomed 1,2 million Australian tourists - that's a 20% increase compared to 2013, and numbers are continually growing.
