Inaugural ceremony of the France Alumni network at the Residence of the Embassy of France

On November 16th 2015, an celebration will be held at the Residence of the Embassy of France for the inauguration of France Alumni in Cambodia, a brand new social network designed for the former Cambodian students who studied in France.

The France Alumni website aims to give Cambodian alumni the opportunity to keep in touch with France, its universities, its firms and its culture.

To celebrate its official launch, an inaugural ceremony is to be held on Monday 16 November 2015, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the Residence of the Embassy of France. In the presence of many alumni and distinguished guests, the French Ambassador in Cambodia, Mr. Jean-Claude POIMBOEUF, will inaugurate the Cambodian version of this new network. This opening will enable Cambodian former students in France to dialogue, through the website, with other alumni from all around the world ; to get access to job, training and internship opportunities in Cambodia and abroad as well as to be kept up to date about French cultural and touristic actuality.

To join this event (200 seats), please register online on the Cambodian France Alumni website : www.cambodia.francealumni.fr. Then, please complete your profile (in "Modify my profile", at the top right of the home screen). Finally, you will be able to register to the "Inauguration of the alumni network in Cambodia" event (in the "Events" thumbnail on the home screen).

Beware ! Incomplete profiles will not be able to register. Please be sure to complete your civil status, contact data, professional career and academic career.

How to access the Embassy on the 16th of November. Please be so kind as to:

• Register only if you are a former Cambodian student who has studied in France ;
• Wear formal or smart business clothing ;
• Arrive at the Embassy at 17:00 ;
• Bring an official identification document with you for security purposes ;
• Understand that, for security purposes, backpacks and other big bags will not be allowed to penetrate inside the Embassy and that every bag is to be checked at the entrance.
