International students arriving in France who arrived in a higher education institution in Montpellier, Nîmes or Perpignan may now register to the international tutorship program 2017.

International tutorship is a partnership initiative by the CROUS and COMUE LR-Universités designed to provide a tailor-made welcome scheme for international students in individual mobility or exchange programme.

During the first 2 months following their arrival - from September to October - "mentors" welcome, guide and support new international students, ("mentorees") in order to help them fit in as quickly as possible in their study centre or city. 

Since 2011, 1,500 mentors have welcomed over 3,500 mentorees from 90 different countries.
