Aix-Marseille University offers French intensive courses this summer 2021!

 

The courses are taught by teachers specialized in French as a foreign language. They will allow students to improve their level of French both orally and in writing, to discover aspects of French culture and Provencal culture (artistic heritage, gastronomy).

 

Several sessions of intensive learning courses are offered during the summer of 2020*:

 

  • From 2nd to 15th June
    • Confirmed course for the "Advanced Intermediate" level - online courses
    • Pending validation for the other levels

 

Possibly on campus courses - depending on the Covid-19 outbreak :

  • June 15 to 26
  • From June 29th to July 10th
  • From July 15th to 28th

* Courses will be open subject to a minimum number of registrations per group and per level.
No delays are accepted after the beginning of the courses.

Levels :

Courses are offered for French levels A2, B1, B1+, B2.
Beginners (A0 or A1) cannot attend the courses.

Each session lasts 2 weeks and includes:

  • 20 hours of French language courses (general FLE) at a distance, by video-conference (10 hours per week, i.e. 2 hours per day)
  • 20 hours of individual work (10 hours per week)
  • 12-14 students maximum per group
  • A certificate of course follow-up, mentioning the language level, will be given at the end of each session.

Organization :

To be able to follow these online courses by video-conference (live), it is necessary to have a computer, a good internet connection, a microphone and a camera.

  • Language courses, from Monday to Friday:
    The 2-hour course will take place according to the availability and the time zones of the students (depending on the countries where they are located). The schedule will be decided at the beginning of the course with the teacher :
    - 10:00am-12:00pm or 2:00-4:00 p.m. or 15h-17h
  • Activities will be regularly given by the teachers, for an individual work of 2h/day on average.
