The French Alumni Association (FAA), established in 2003 under the auspices of the French Consulate in Hong Kong and Macao, has the mission of fostering and enhancing the bonds of friendship among permanent residents in Hong Kong and Macau who have studied in France and individuals with keen interest in French culture.

The FAA aims to link up people and resources for creating value for its members, to maintain and improve our knowledge and understanding of the French language and culture for personal and professional development. FAA committee members are graduates from different local and overseas universities and pursued higher education in France. We all had a great time in France and hope to make FAA a place for meeting old pals and new friends through various social, cultural, educational and scientific activities.

We, French alumni, gather together and organize activities to promote the French culture simply because we love France. Our love is not from the mere fact that most of us have benefited from different kinds of scholarship from the French government but from the most memorable experiences that we shared during our stay in France. The French education is certainly one of the best, which career-wise helps us a lot but most importantly it is the whole French culture that has changed our vision and philosophy in different aspects of life. FAA serves to share the good experiences and to continue the French culture.
