Her Excellency Ms Sylvie Bermann, Ambassador of France, President of WNE, is visiting India in recognition of its role as a world major nuclear industry player.

The World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE) is the top civil nuclear show worldwide, hosted by GIFEN, the French Nuclear Industry Association. Held every 2 years in Paris, France, in 2023 it brought together almost 24000 visitors from all over the world (88 countries), 780 exhibitors from the global nuclear industry, and 17 national pavilions. 1400 VIP and officials attended the official programs.

In 2025, the show is expected to grow by 20% and will address the main trends of the nuclear industry: deployment of nuclear projects, training and skills, start-up and innovation. The 2025 WNE edition will host a “Beyond Electricity Expo” for the first time to showcase the applications of nuclear technology in other domains, such as medicine, agriculture, and space propulsion.

Her Excellency Ms Sylvie Bermann, Ambassador of France, President of WNE, is visiting India in recognition of its role as a world major nuclear industry player. She met Dr A.K. Mohanty, Chairman - Atomic Energy Commission and Secretary - Department of Atomic Energy of India, during the IAEA General Conference in September and invited him to join the 2025 WNE ministerial conference.

During her visit to India, Ambassador Bermann will meet with high-level industry representatives at NPCIL, NTPC and Godrej in Mumbai and visit the manufacturing facility for ultra-heavy equipment of the nuclear industry in Hazira, Gujarat, as part of the program of the French Nuclear Week, organised by Business France.

The Indian nuclear supply chain is an asset for the global nuclear industry. WNE is an opportunity to showcase its value to the world and for Indian industry leaders to connect with their international counterparts.
