High Level Scientific Mobility Grants - Discover the results

In 2020, the Embassy of France in Ireland and France Alumni Ireland launched the first edition of the High Level Scientific Grants, a mobility scheme part of the Grants of the French Government, to strengthen scientific cooperation between Ireland and France. This new scheme awards grants to spend one month in a research team in France, in partnership with the Irish chapter of the Association des membres de l’ordre des palmes académiques (Amopa), the Association des études françaises et francophones d’Irlande (Adeffi) and the Association for Franco-Irish Studies (Afis).

We received a high number of excellent files for this first edition, with a total of almost 80 applications. Projects have been selected based on their merits and expected contributions. As traveling may still prove difficult for months due to Covid-19 crisis, 20 projects have been shortlisted to fund 10 mobilities in 2020. Researchers are now checking how they could adjust their initial agenda to visit their host in France in 2020.
