TOUR OF THE KNESSET

French Israeli relations include a cooperation in the field of administration. Every year, Israeli state employees receive a scholarship to go and study in France at the French national administration school (ENA), where most  French prominent politicans have been trained as well as ambassadors and high-officials. Former trainees from the ENA program currently working at the Knesset set up a tour of the institution for you.

This tour will be a great opportunity to learn about the Knesset and the work of its members. We will tour the various wings of the building, attend a committee, during which the laws are actually written, watch Knesset plenary debates, and then meet with members of the Knesset to discuss their work, policy making, international matters and relations with France.

PROGRAM

• Monday March 20, 2017
• 14h15: Welcoming: light refreshments and opening
• 15h-16h: Guided tour of the Knesset in English including the visit of a commission
• 16h-16h30: Debate in the hemiclycle
• 16h30-17h30: Meeting with members of the Knesset, specializing in international questions and relations with France

PRATICAL INFORMATION

• Let's meet on Monday March 20, 2017 at 14:15 at the Knesset, Jerusalem
• This tour is opened to members of France Alumni and French exchange students in Israel
• The tour is free and open within the limit of the available places
