Alain Bauer was born in Paris in 1962. Alain Bauer is a professor of applied criminology at the National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts and a security consultant. It has become a reference in the field of security. Alain Bauer is also the author of about thirty books on Freemasonry and about forty on crime. Alain Bauer was a consultant to the President of the French Republic Nicolas Sarkozy and then to Prime Minister Manuel Valls on security and terrorism issues. He was also Grand Master of the Grand Orient of France from 2000 to 2003.
