Le French Festival 2017 is coming!

The 2017 edition of Le French festival kicked off with the best of the French performing arts, visual arts and cinema, education and science to create linkages between French and Malaysian cultures.

Nearly 12,500 people gather each spring to take part in the events organised by the Alliance Française and the Embassy of France in Malaysia in several locations of Kuala Lumpur, Penang and this year for the first time in Kota Kinabalu.

The 2017 edition of the festival is bringing to Malaysia renown artists such as the pianist Maxime Zecchini for an exceptional concert at the MPO, the Dancing Company UZUMAKI who will perform with a Malaysian company, the company Non Nova for an unexpected show for kids and grown up and the singer and DJ Charles-Baptiste who will fresh up classical French songs with his own titles. Exhibition about cinema and architecture with the architect Jacques Ferrier, cooking ateliers and New Technology and VR night are highlighting different aspects of a creative France.

Such a programme has been made possible thanks to the constant support of sponsors, partner organisations, volunteers and of the audience whose commitment to stand beside the organisers shall be underlined.
