France & Singapore in the Reuters top 10 ranking “The World’s Most Innovative Research Institutions”

The rankings were compiled by the Intellectual Property & Science division of Thomson Reuters, which used proprietary data and analysis tools to examine patents and research papers from the past eight years to find the governmental organizations most likely to change the world.

Top 25 World Most Innovative Research Institutions Rankings

Topping the list is France’s Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), closely followed by the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) 5th and the French Institute of Health & Medical Research (Inserm) 10th. Singapore also is sharing the top 10 ranking with its Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) 9th on the ranking.
