Launch of the South Africa - France Innovation Portal

The French Embassy in Pretoria, through its Technical Expert in innovation, has decided to launch the SAFIP portal which showcases technologies or projects seeking for partners.

The objective is to build bridges between French and South African innovators to codevelop a product or a technology, leading to mutual economic interest. South Africa and France share the same will to support innovative projects finding the right partner to put a new product on the market. Should it be for upscaling, upgrading, adapting, industrialising, testing, the technologies & projects displayed on the website have the particularity to require further development to be commercialised.

They are also the markers of expertises being developed in specific structures which could lead to an improved targeting of further engagements. This portal will be updated every 3 months on a collaborative basis with the South African organisations implied in the project.
