As the days grow longer and the first rays of sunshine gently warm the air, there's no doubt about it: spring is here! This season is one of the most beloved in France. After winter, the streets come alive again, parks fill up, and outdoor cafés buzz with activity. But spring is also a season rich in vocabulary and traditions, making it worth exploring.

A renewal in nature… and in daily life

Spring is, above all, a time of nature’s awakening. Everywhere, trees bud, flowers bloom, and birdsong fills the mornings. In the countryside, fields burst into vibrant colors, with bright red poppies and golden daffodils.

But this renewal is not limited to nature! In cities, habits change: spontaneous picnics appear in public gardens, joggers return to the riverbanks, and a desire for adventure takes hold.

  1. Easter, with its chocolate eggs and family meals.
  2. May 1st, a public holiday when people offer lily-of-the-valley flowers.
  3. Music Festival, celebrating the start of summer in a joyful atmosphere.
