Diego Ortiz, next n+i student

Lone Star System College Diego Ortiz is the second recipient of the study abroad program in partnership with the French Embassy and the n+i Engineering Institutes Program. 
 
Diego is an active honors student and also an international student from El Salvador. This prestigious program will provide Diego with language training, a full scholarship with living allowance, and an internship at a French cooperation.  The program itself is designed to propel engineering students by enhancing their knowledge of future technologies while focusing on environmental preservation.
 
Daniela Markovic, another Lone Star student was the program's inaugural student last year.  Lone Star has also had students receive scholarships for the French Embassy's short-term pre-professional STEM seminars in Paris for the last two years.
