Connecting Alumni and French compagnies

On 28^th March 2017, Campus France, Malaysian French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MFCCI) and the Embassy of France in Malaysia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which sets out the general framework for collaboration towards the co-administration of the local website of France Alumni.

At the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development, Campus France has designed France Alumni to be an efficient digital multilingual platform to unite, inform and guide foreign students who studied in the French higher education.

The last decades have shown Malaysian institutions and major companies’ confidence in the quality of the French higher education in the development of highly qualified human resources. Generations of French alumni are now shaping the current and future needs of Malaysia.

Since the inauguration of France Alumni Malaysia platform on 13^th November 2015, over 300 alumni registered online. Through the local website, France invites its alumni to extend the professional and cultural experiences shared in France on their return to their home country. They also have the opportunity to build their network online, and look for job offers, particularly among the French companies operating in Malaysia.

Thanks to a dynamic and powerful business network of 250 companies, MFCCI is a key partner in the trade and industrial ecosystem. Its expertise is valuable to the alumni, whether they recently graduate or have several years of working experience.

From that conclusion, Campus France, MFCCI and the Embassy of France in Malaysia have decided to put their skills and competences in common to the benefit of the alumni community. This MoU aims at strengthening the links between French-Malaysian organizations.
