Main mission
The research engineer with the competence of process engineering will work in the team of Modelling for Generation at R&D China Center located in EDF China Beijing office.
Based on the process engineering competence, the newcomer is expected to carry out various modelling activities on different energy technologies domains (energy hub / hybridization, ...) with the first focus on Hydrogen and innovative PV technologies.
He/she will work with R&D France team on linked projects, and with EDF China Business Unit to provide technical solution and analysis.

Main Responsibilities
1. Production process simulation and analysis for Hydrogen activities:
Carry out the model development of hydrogen production process based on EDF's numerical tools
Support EDF's local business to resolve the industrial issues related to process engineering

2. Technical analysis on the development of innovative PV technologies in China
Performance evaluation of Chinese innovative PV technologies with R&D France team
Market analysis of Chinese PV industry

3. Watch on Chinese renewable energy technologies with priority on Hydrogen and PV industry:
H2 industry development in China, and its operational feedback
Development of Chinese innovative PV technologies such as Perovskite, tandem technologies etc.

Required skills:

Basic requirements: (Education/Qualification/Language/Computer etc.)
•Native Chinese speaker, and fluent English especially for speaking and writing. Speaking French is a strong plus.

Professional experience and skills / Technical Knowledge
•Master’s degree in science & engineering field (or Engineer degree of French Grande Ecole), process engineering diploma is a strong plus.
•Familiar with numerical simulation of process engineering
•Basic knowledge of Hydrogen and PV industry.
