LIABILITY
Campus France is committed to do the best efforts to guarantee an access to the platform to users at any time. However, Campus France shall not be held liable for any unavailability of the platform, whatever the cause.
The user of the France Alumni platform agrees to have read this legal notice and to comply with it.
The user acknowledges having the skills and means necessary to access and using the France Alumni platform and acknowledges to have checked that the computer equipment used does not contain any virus, and that it operates correctly.
Campus France cannot guarantee that the information published on the France Alumni platform is accurate and complete, or the permanence of its proper operation or complete computer security.
Campus France does all it can to offer users information and tools both available and verified, but cannot be held liable for errors, unavailability of the information and/or the presence of viruses.
The user acknowledges that his/her use of available information and tools on the platform is under his/her exclusive responsibility.
PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
Campus France may collect personal data regarding users who wish to access the platform. This will only be achieved through the registration form or other form that may be offered via the platform.
All the data collected by Campus France will be processed automatically.
The data collected are compulsory to the processes and are intended for relevant services of Campus France and, if applicable, its providers and subcontractors.
Pursuant to the French legislation on the freedom of information of January 6th 1978 amended, users have the right to question, access, modify, delete and oppose for legitimate reasons the use of their personal data by sending an email to the Head of Information Services of Campus France by mail at: [email protected] or by postal mail at: 28 rue de la Grange aux Belles – 75010 Paris, along with a copy of your identification document.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
The France Alumni platform as a whole and each of its composing items taken independently, including specific programs and developments and contents including data, texts, fix of animated images, logos, sounds, graphics or files are the exclusive property of Campus France or of third parties that have granted Campus France a licence. Any partial or total representation of the platform or of one of its components is prohibited without the express authorization of Campus France and is considered as a counterfeiting punished by articles L.335-2 et seq. of the Code of Intellectual Property.
The databases present on the platform are protected by articles L.341-1 et seq. of the Code of Intellectual Property; any quantitatively or qualitatively significant mining or reuse of the databases contents is punishable by law.
Brands and logos on the platform are trademarks registered by Campus France or third parties. Any reproduction, imitation or use, in whole or in part, of these distinctive signs without express authorization and in breach of articles L.713-2 et seq. of the Code of Intellectual Property renders the perpetrator liable.
Other distinctive signs, including corporate names, trade names, banners, domain names replicated on the platform are the property of Campus France or third parties and any reproduction without express authorization may be interpreted as a usurpation engaging the liability of its author, pursuant to article 1382 of the Civil Code.
LINKS
Links to third party websites shall not engage the liability of Campus France regarding their access conditions and contents.
The platform users may not establish a deep link to this platform without the express prior written approval of Campus France.
APPLICABLE LAW
This platform is governed by French law.
MODIFICATION
Campus France has the right to modify the content of this legal notice at any time and without prior notice.
Users are advised to read them on a regular basis.
PRIVACY POLICY
Campus France is aware of the importance of guaranteeing the privacy of data, and is fully committed to protect personal data.
This privacy policy may be amended in the future depending on the legal and regulatory framework and on the guidance of the National Commission on Computer Technology and Freedom (Cnil).
Data collected
During your use of the France Alumni platform, specific data may be collected directly from you. Campus France strives to collect and process only strictly necessary data in regards of the purpose of the ongoing process.
Collection purpose
Processes implemented by Campus France have an explicit, legitimate and determined purpose. Your data are mainly processed for the following purposes:
- management of contact requests;
- management of your registration to the France Alumni network newsletters;
- management of your registration to the France Alumni platform;
- management of your registration to the France Alumni events;
Campus France has also followed required processes beforehand to inform the Cnil of these purposes. The purposes have been recorded in receipts numbered 1807976, 1807991, 1808008 and 1808012.
Recipients of collected data
Campus France only communicates your personal data to authorized and predetermined recipients. Recipients of your personal data include:
- relevant services from Campus France;
- possible Campus France subcontractors;
- possible Campus France partners or co-contracting parties;
- other users members of the Alumni platform for the data your allow to be transferred to them through the directory;
- relevant services of the French ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Data retention
Campus France only retains your data for the duration necessary to operations for which they have been collected and in accordance with legislation in force.
SECURITY
Campus France secures your personal data by implementing a data protection reinforced by the use of physical and logical securing.
In case of subcontracting of the operation of personal data process, in whole or in part, Campus France commits to impose subcontractors contractual obligation of the privacy and security of transferred personal data, in accordance with article 35 of the amended French legislation on the freedom of information.
Users' rights
