Big Data
The French Institutes of the Nordic countries hold a series of conferences around the "big data" theme this autumn
Topics include: "Big data and energy" in Norway, "Big data and smart cities" in Finland, "Big data and food" in Denmark and "Big data and health" in Sweden.
Big data and health on 25th September 2017 in Stockholm
In partnership with the Royal Stockholm Polytechnic School (KTH), the French Institute of Sweden is organizing a conference day on 25 September.
In the morning, new European regulations on the protection of personal data and its impact on the research and development of new medical treatments will be discussed. A presentation of European calls for projects in these fields will follow.
Four workshops will be held in the afternoon:
Data collection, analysis and mergers for preventive, predictive and personalized medicines
Technology for the safety and protection of sensitive data
Enable the use of data analysis in clinical practice
Technology allowing the personal appropriation of personal data by the patient
