To celebrate the two years of the Paris agreement, France will hold the "One Planet Summit" on December 12 in Paris

French president Emmanuel Macron, Jim Yong Kim, president of the Global Bank group, and Antoinio Guterres, secretary general of the UN, fight for the climate emergency for our planet by gathering international leaders and active citizens from all over the world.

More than a hundred countries and 800 non-government stakeholders are invited to the "One Planet Summit" held on Seguin Island (Hauts-de-Seine region).

The day is designed to fire "new actions for climate, including on the financial aspect", said Macron on July 8, 2017 in Hamburg.

Since the call of the French president on June 1st, 2017 to researchers and teachers, to entrepreneurs, to associations and NGOs, to students and all of civil society to join France to fight climate change, many applications and experiences were sent to the website www.makeourplanetgreatagain.fr. Campus France is on the frontline to provide advice and guidance for all applicants: contact with the CNRS for those who want to apply to a long-term research stay, contact with the diplomatic posts for tailor-made appointments, answers regarding the application process, etc.
